The Bulletin Board is intended for Sharepages members to discuss and exchange information and research on UK shares. Members can create, post and respond to messages as well as view and search postings related to a specific company or poster.

It is important that you spend a minute or two reading the Rules and Disclaimer as shown below. That's because when you post or read a message you're agreeing to be bound by the Rules and Disclaimer.

The Rules

All content, including the contents of the Bulletin Board, on the Sharepages.com website are displayed at the sole discretion of Sharepages.com Limited and we reserve the absolute right to remove or refuse any user, posting, comment, advertisement, image or any other material without assigning a reason.

Sharepages will not exercise editorial control over the content of messages posted on The Bulletin Board but ask that Members behave responsibly in their postings. Should a Member feel harassed in any manner you must notify us of the offending post or message. We reserve the right to remove any message at any time that we deem to be unsuitable and also any Member who continues to post misleading or deceptive information or is abusive, obscene or threatening to fellow Members.

Any information you use from The Bulletin Board you do so at your own risk. The opinions expressed in these messages are made by the Members themselves (many of whom use anonymous nicknames and may be strangers to yourselves) and are purely observations which do not necessarily represent accurate information nor professional advice. Whilst the information contained herein may help you with your investment research you should not solely rely upon this information for making any investment decisions. Past achievement is not necessarily a guide to future performance and it is the responsibility of the Member to check the authenticity of any information by carrying out further independent research on investments of interest. Look on the company's website, get hold of the annual report, read the financial press, etc., and then decide for yourself the accuracy and reliability of information that has been presented by a contributor on The Bulletin Board.

You must always consult an independent financial adviser for investment advice. Share prices can go down as well as up and Members are strongly encouraged to always seek professional advice before entering into any share dealing as a result of details on The Bulletin Board.

Finally, be cautious of any message claiming to share privileged information and urging you to act quickly to avoid missing out.

  • Promotions - please do not advertise investments or financial services nor offer investments for sale. Any unauthorised business or advertisements seen to be promoting themselves and brought to the attention of Sharepages will be removed.

  • Information - remember to credit the source of any information with the appropriate hyperlink to avoid copyright infringement. Copying and posting material from other sites and media is illegal and could result in action against the poster so if in doubt, do not copy. Sharepages does not take responsibility for other websites outside the www.sharepages.com domain.
